Clifton offers a range of games and days where you can enjoy a round of golf.
Tuesday Sporters
Sporters is a 9 hole competition that hits off between 11.30 and 2 pm. Main prize is a meat tray but there are pin shots, approaches and a ball run down. Mates play together, visitors are very welcome. Fee is $10.00 and carts are available.
Saturday Golf
Saturday golf offers a varied format of sponsored days that include Ambrose, Stableford and Stroke events. Fee is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non members. Saturday golf commences with names in prior to 11.15 am. Check for details in our “Calendar” page. Carts are available.
Wednesday Ladies
Ladies Competition Day is Wednesday. Names in at 8.45 am with hit off soon after. Everyone is welcome. Further information is available from Ruth on 4697 3303.
Sunday Golf
Sunday is our main competition day. Fee is $15.00 for club members and $20.00 for visitors. Golf commences with names in prior to 11.15am. Carts are available and can be booked by contacting the club. Social players are welcome but must give way to members who are playing in the competition. Players from other clubs are most welcome.
Friday Hackers
Hackers is a 12 hole competition that starts any time between 12 noon and 2.30 pm. Main prize is a meat tray with a pin shots and approaches. ‘Hackers’ is a very relaxed and enjoyable format with the emphasis like Sporters that everyone will win eventually. Fee is $10.00 and carts are available. A great format for players of all ability. No formal handicap is required.
Social Golf
Social golfers are always welcome at Clifton. Additional information regarding golf at Clifton can be obtained by calling Darren 0411 960 393, Col on 0428 964 576 or the club house on 0477 958 522. Please respect the licensing laws and do not BYO alcohol to the course. Please dress appropriately and have covered footware.
