Hello and Welcome to Clifton Golf Club!

       Welcome to the Clifton Golf Club website. Our club was formed in 1954 from a piece of virgin forest on the Eastern Darling Downs in Queensland. Hard work by dedicated volunteers over many years has resulted in the challenging course we have today. When Ross Watson redesigned the course in 1980 to feature 328 greens, he captured the country essence and friendly environment that permeates the rural setting where wildlife abounds.

       Despite its modest size Clifton has all the modern facilities that you would expect to see at larger clubs. When you visit the playing calendar you will see a variety of formal and social events to satisfy everyone. Motorised carts and a limited number of sticks are available for hire and catering for social clubs is available by arrangement. Memberships and Green Fees are modestly priced.
